Try This: Braided Updo

Zoe Saldana is always stunning and fashion forward, especially at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards! Her braided hair brings about a sense of both elegance and casualness to her sexy lace-front dress. Interested in copying Zoe's braided hairstyle? Look below to see blog Cupcakes and Cashmere's easy to follow how-to for this stylish updo.

How-To: Braided Updo

1. Part hair down the middle of your head and separate into two sections. Braid each section as tightly as possible.

2. Secure the ends of each braid with a clear rubber band.

3. Once you have two braids securely fastened, take out a few strands of hair by your face so the look isn't too perfect.

4. Take one braid and pull it tautly across your entire head. Use bobby pins in a color close to your hair and start securing them every couple of inches along the braid.

5. Once one of the braids is in place, do the same thing with the other side.

6. Make sure any bumps or stray hairs are tucked away in the back of your head.

End result.
