NYC designer Lela Rose debuted her Resort collection today on WWD.com and Style.com. amika™ hair stylist Michael Duenas created the hair look for the shoot.

1. Start with clean, dry hair. Detangle the hair with a soft bristle paddle brush and spritz it with a styling spray designed for hold and volume, amika™ 2 in 1 Volumizing and Styling Spray. Prep your hair by blowing it out a bit with the NRG Professional Dryer and a soft bristle brush.
2. Take a small section of hair, twist it lightly and then wrap the entire twist around the barrel of the amika™ 19mm Tourmaline Clip Free Curler. Hold for 10 seconds and release. Repeat with the rest of your hair.
3. Once the curls have cooled. Comb through the curls with your fingers, resulting in a nice, natural wave.
4. Gently gather the curls into a loose side bun and pin into place.
5. Next, use the fingers to create a soft texture around the face. To do this, take a few strands that frame the face and rub them between the thumb and index finger.
6. Finally, add a bit of shine to the look with amika™ Obliphica Finishing Shine Spray. Spray a small amount into the palm and lightly smooth over the hair.
