The Look of Curls
Get natural, soft curls- much like these done at the photo shoot for Alexa Chung's newest fashion collection for Madewell. They can all be achieved by using the 19" Amika Tourmaline Curler or 100% Ceramic Styler, but slight variations make each look different.
How to Curl: Using Amika's 100% Ceramic Styler, wrap large (1 inch) sections of the hair around the ceramic plate. Gently slide the hair in a downward motion. For tighter curlers twist slowly and hold down tighter on the handle.
Jazz it up by using ribbon (or any preferred hair accessory) to tie hair in a low ponytail near the jawline.
(Left photo) Also try straightening bangs, or adding a hair clip/ large hair accessory to one side.
(Right photo): Try using the Amika Tourmaline Curler by wrapping 1 inch sections away from your face and leaving 1 inch sections straight and untouched at the bottom.
