We thought we'd share a few of more of our favorite costumes with great hair and tips on how to achieve it. Here you go....
Short Hair
Edie Sedgwick
This is a cute look that is all about the make-up. The hair is quite simple if you have a pixie short cut.
Edie How-To:
Simply add volume with a volumizing spray like amika 2-in-1 Volumizing and Styling Spray and back comb hair for lift. If your hair is burnette spray it with a grey colored hair spray to give it a faux platnium look.
Medium Length Hair
Siouxsie Sioux from Siouxsie and the Banshees
Channel your inner goth rocker with a Siouxsie Sioux costume this year.
Siouxsie How-to:
The
hair is simple. Spray with a black hairspray and then tease like crazy
in all directions. Make sure to spend some time on your makeup to pale
our your complexion and add in her jet black brows and spiky liner.
Long Hair
Cher
Who
doesn't love Cher? There are so many costumes to choose from too. You
can be 70's Sher from the TV days with great wide leg print trousers and
tiny tops or an 80's rocker Sher with thigh high boots and skimpy
outfits.
Mimicking her hair is easiest if you have hair that is all one length. Deep condition with the amika Nourishing Mask for silky shine. Part at the center and take sections make them stick straight with the amika 100% Ceramic Styler. Finish with the amika Obliphica Shine Spray for superstar shine.
